The big talk of the town now is the escalating gas prices and how it is affecting everyone. I've noticed with my own family and also friends that they are doing a lot more carpooling, consolidating errands and dropping unnecessary trips. Additionally, we don't seem to be selling as many motor home tires this year. We, as tire dealers, definitely must remind our customers of keeping their tires inflated and their cars tuned up.

Our two Scholarship recipients are featured in this issue of the newsletter. Congratulations to Kristen Evans, daughter of Sandy Evans, Bridgestone/Firestone, and Ashley Seehusen, daughter of Tim Seehusen, J&L Tire & Auto in Hopkins.

Our Summer Outing is coming up on Saturday, July 15th. Information and the Registration Form are on Pages 8 and 9. Registration deadline is July 1st. The Twins have been doing great this year, so along with the Golf Tournament and great dinner, it should make for a really fun outing. Hope to see you there!
